Back in 1999, we had a vision to provide the same healthy, locally-raised beef that we enjoyed on our own table. From humble beginnings in our backyard, we now provide sustainably-raised, humanely handled beef to a second generation of North Carolinians in the Triangle, Triad, Fayetteville and surrounding counties in southeastern North Carolina. Our cattle graze a smorgasbord of hybrid bermuda, improved crabgrass, eleven other native warm and cool season grasses, forbs, and legumes. We use management intensive grazing to optimize pasture utilization, giving the cattle a fresh serving on a regular basis. We also feed high quality, locally produced hay. Our cattle do get a weekly ration of quality grain products to keep them coming in the catch lot. High quality, free choice mineral mix is always available to balance their nutrition. We use no routine antibiotics, no synthetic hormones, and no steroids. Special pricing available for buying clubs and self pick-up at the abattoir.
